Bright and cheerful with large, soft lemon-yellow blooms, Lemon Queen Sunflowers bring bold color to summer gardens. Light yellow petals with rich brown centers make them stand out in borders and cutting gardens, while their tall 5–7½ foot stems create dramatic vertical interest. A low-maintenance favorite, they attract honey bees, bumble bees, and other pollinators — and even produce edible seeds, making them a fun and rewarding choice for gardeners of all ages.
Founded by Wisconsin folk musician Trapper Schoepp, Schoepp Seeds brings heirloom, GMO-free garden seeds to a new generation of gardeners, artists, and music lovers. A descendant of Olof Johnson, gardener to the King of Sweden, Schoepp grew up with gardening in his roots. The internationally touring songwriter is also the youngest artist to co-write with Bob Dylan on the song “On, Wisconsin,” bridging generations of American folk tradition.
Created in collaboration with New York’s legendary Bentley Seeds — a trusted freshcrop supplier since 1975 — each packet pairs timeless seed varieties with bold, art-forward packaging. Originally launched alongside Schoepp’s 2021 album May Day, the collection celebrates agricultural heritage while bringing seeds into new spaces like concerts, record stores, coffee shops, and curated retail.
