All plating can wear off over time. Since we only use precious metals, the silver metal can show through, but will never turn green or tarnish like brass. Please use gentle cleaning products as other substances may be too strong and remove the gold. We suggest that you do not wear gold-plated jewelry in the shower and make a habit to remove it every day. To clean, use a mild dishwashing liquid diluted in water. Use of a polishing cloth or strong jewelry cleaner is not recommended as it may remove the plating. Also, adhere to all General Care instructions.
