Chef Samin Nostrat

Samin Nosrat put in her time in the kitchen of Chez Panisse and left to start her own adventure with food, focusing on primarily the three most important elements of her cooking (and the name of her new cookbook) 'Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat'. Here she teams up with Bon Appetit for a gorgeous summer meal, just how it should be- al fresco and messy. We pulled of two of her recipes for you- a harissa that should be a staple in every kitchen + bffs with all your summer grilling and a wabi sari style zucchini salad, the rest you can find here.

For the first time in the history of humankind, more people live in cities than in the country. Yet, at the same time, more and more city dwellers are yearning for a place that urban centers usually cannot provide: quiet, relaxation, being out of reach, getting back to basics, feeling human again. Rock the Shack takes us to these places. The book features a compelling range of sparingly to intricately furnished cabins, cottages, second homes, tree houses, transformations, shelters, and cocoons. Published by Gestalten. Hardcover. Full color. Measures 24 x 30 cm. 240 pages.
